From Karie Vincent, Yoga Teacher

January 22, 2010
I have had the privilege of witnessing first-hand, the benefits of Kenny Kolter's talents, both as a participant in several of his workshops and while teaching Yoga classes at Elgin Mental Health Center. Music therapy has been proven to relax the body, calm the mind and soothe the soul.
The vibrations of the gong add a whole new dimension to healing...I've seen people totally relax letting the sound wash over them... some have released tears that were bottled up...others liken it to a total body massage...some say the experience takes them out of their body for a moment...most agree, they feel more calm and peaceful after Kenny's gong sessions.
Kenny is musical maestro, skillfully adapting gong sessions to be in tune with the specific needs of his audience. As an accomplished percussionist the sounds Kenny produces on the gong are simply beyond words. Listeners are amazed at the range of gong tones, from soft shimmers to explosive crescendos.
Kenny Kolter has a passion and a purpose to help others using his talents. It is a blessing, joy and honor to work with him. Whatever opportunities and venues come his way, I am confident that the positive energy of Kenny's gong will be an enjoyable gift to all.
